Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation tasks
- Design and conduct experiments on 100+ qubit quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to mitigate quantum decoherence
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate research into practical applications
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure research grants and patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum assembly
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Familiarity with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
