Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography optimization and molecular modeling
- Design fault-tolerant quantum systems capable of 1000+ qubit operations
- Partner with NASA, IBM, and academic institutions on quantum supremacy projects
- Develop proprietary error correction protocols for industrial-scale quantum networks
- Mentor cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Secure federal grants and publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computational Mathematics
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum circuit design experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Science/Nature)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Demonstrated success in securing NSF/DARPA research funding
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
