Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms for 2026-scale cryptographic systems
- Lead 12-person quantum hardware integration team
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant qubits
- Collaborate with DARPA and MIT on quantum supremacy projects
- Secure $5M+ in quantum research grants annually
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Q2B conferences
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing or Physics with 8+ years experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals (Nature/Science)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 100 qubits
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Experience with quantum-resistant cryptography standards (NIST)
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum error correction
