Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-ML hybrid algorithms
- Secure $5M+ annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Partner with Intel, IBM, and NASA on quantum hardware integration
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum
- Drive quantum cybersecurity initiatives for critical infrastructure
- Mentor PhD candidates and publish 4+ peer-reviewed papers annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record securing federal research grants
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
- Experience mentoring research teams of 10+ scientists
