Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing research roadmaps targeting 2026 commercialization milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing novel quantum algorithms for enterprise applications
- Drive innovation in quantum error correction techniques for scalable fault-tolerant systems
- Secure and manage $5M+ annual research budgets for quantum hardware/software initiatives
- Publish high-impact papers in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum solutions in logistics and finance
- Mentor PhD researchers and postdocs in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 8+ years research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature Quantum, PRL)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proven track record of securing government/industry research grants
- Experience leading teams of 10+ researchers in high-tech environments
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, photonic, trapped ion)
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills with quantum libraries (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
