Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures

- Secure $5M+ in government grants and private funding for quantum R&D
- Mentor a team of 5-7 quantum physicists and computer scientists
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies to implement quantum solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of leading complex R&D projects
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and noise mitigation
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DOE, DARPA)
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum error correction
- Entrepreneurial mindset with commercialization experience
