Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms solving NP-hard problems in logistics and pharmaceuticals
- Lead 12-person quantum simulation team using IBM Quantum and Rigetti systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate architectures
- Secure DARPA/NIST grants for quantum-resistant cryptography projects
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Physics/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computational Mathematics
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Track record securing $1M+ in quantum research funding
- Experience with superconducting and photonic quantum processors
