Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Develop proprietary quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to design scalable quantum processors
- Secure $10M+ in government and industry research grants
- Mentor PhD-level researchers and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Drive intellectual property strategy with 50+ patent applications
- Present findings at Davos, IEEE Quantum Week, and major tech conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum computing research with IBM/Google/Quantinuum
- Published 20+ peer-reviewed papers on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proven track record of securing NSF/DARPA grants
- Experience leading teams of 10+ researchers
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy applications
- Clearance for DOE/NIST quantum security protocols
