Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry research grants
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with US Department of Energy on quantum security frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq frameworks and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
