- Secure and manage quantum research grants totaling $5M+ annually
- Present breakthrough findings at premier conferences (e.g., IEEE Quantum Week)
- Drive quantum hardware-software co-design for fault-tolerant systems
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish in top-tier journals (Nature Physics, Quantum Science & Technology)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record publishing quantum computing research in Q1 journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction codes
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Demonstrated ability to secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion technologies
