Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and simulation
- Lead a team of quantum physicists and software engineers in prototyping experiments
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Partner with industry leaders to commercialize quantum applications
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at global conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from federal and private entities
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published papers in Nature/Science or equivalent tier
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex systems theory
- Experience securing government research funding
