Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms with real-world commercial applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to develop industry-specific quantum solutions
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD candidates and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Develop quantum-optimized machine learning frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Published research in quantum cryptography or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Track record of securing government research funding
- Expertise in quantum machine learning architectures
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering systems
