Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Lead a team of 12+ quantum physicists and software engineers in cutting-edge research initiatives
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Present findings to C-suite executives and government innovation panels
- Mentor junior researchers through our Quantum Academy program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL) on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and hardware architectures
- Proven track record of leading R&D projects with multi-million dollar budgets
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and topological qubit systems
- Experience securing government grants and DARPA partnerships
- Strong background in machine learning integration with quantum systems
- US citizenship required for federal collaboration projects
