Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era applications in cryptography and materials science
- Oversee 15+ researchers in quantum error correction and qubit stability protocols
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D grants from DARPA and NSF
- Develop strategic partnerships with IBM Quantum and MIT
- Author 3+ peer-reviewed publications annually on quantum supremacy
- Translate theoretical models into deployable quantum systems
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and similar forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum decoherence
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and D-Wave systems
- Proven track record of securing government research grants
- Deep understanding of Shor's and Grover's algorithm implementations
- Leadership experience managing cross-functional technical teams
- Active security clearance preferred
