Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm research initiatives targeting 2026 technology benchmarks
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, mathematicians, and software engineers
- Develop quantum error correction frameworks for practical deployment
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at international conferences
- Translate quantum research into patentable intellectual property
- Establish partnerships with quantum hardware providers (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion)
