Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for Shor's and Grover's applications in enterprise security
- Develop error-correction protocols for 100+ qubit quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum theory to practical cloud services
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum
- Optimize quantum circuits using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Collaborate with US Department of Energy on quantum internet infrastructure
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning models
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum annealing optimization problems
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Familiarity with NISQ-era hardware constraints (IBM, Google, IonQ)
- US citizenship required for government collaboration projects
