Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Integrate quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Lead prototyping of quantum applications in cryptography and machine learning
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum architectures
- Document quantum computing methodologies and publish research findings
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper)
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting qubit or ion-trap systems
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
