Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems

- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and contribute to open-source quantum initiatives
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through innovative proposals
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum algorithms and hardware optimization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant computing
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 50 qubits
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Experience securing federal or corporate quantum research grants
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into commercial applications
