Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit coherence
- Develop error correction protocols for practical quantum advantage
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Lead quantum software stack development in Python/C++ with Qiskit integration
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems and microwave engineering
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography transition
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior quantum engineers through our Quantum Accelerator Program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum algorithms with demonstrated quantum advantage
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface/colour codes)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting/ion trap systems)
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmaps
- Strong background in complex system architecture and high-performance computing
