Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Architect scalable quantum computing frameworks compatible with hybrid classical-quantum systems
- Lead research on quantum error correction techniques for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into enterprise workflows
- Develop quantum software development tools and SDKs for developer ecosystem
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum hardware developments and adapt architectures accordingly
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals preferred
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable technical strategies
