Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Develop quantum algorithms achieving exponential speedups over classical systems
- Lead error correction protocols achieving 99.999% fidelity thresholds
- Collaborate with hardware teams on superconducting and photonic qubit systems
- Secure $50M+ in quantum research grants and partnerships
- Mentor a team of 15+ quantum physicists and engineers
- Publish 3+ breakthrough papers in Nature/Science annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction
