Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for error-corrected qubit systems
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Collaborate with physicists to prototype novel quantum hardware interfaces
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Drive R&D for quantum machine learning frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum software or hardware systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Azure Quantum)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or architecture
- Proficiency in classical HPC integration techniques
