Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications in finance and healthcare
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Secure patents for novel quantum error-correction methodologies
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum machine learning research
- Present findings at quantum computing conferences and publish in Nature Physics
- Maintain compliance with NIST quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 1000 qubits
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy and fault-tolerant computing
- Experience securing DoD or NSF quantum research grants
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfacing
- Certification in Quantum Computing Architecture (QCA) preferred
