Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 100+ qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Create roadmaps for quantum advantage applications in cryptography and AI
- Secure $5M+ research grants from DARPA and NSF initiatives
- Pioneer quantum networking protocols for distributed quantum computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years designing quantum hardware or quantum algorithms
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave control electronics
- Demonstrated success in securing government research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence challenges
