Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems leveraging superconducting and photonic qubits
- Design error correction frameworks for 1000+ qubit processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead security implementations for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate quantum acceleration into neural networks
- Drive patent strategy for quantum hardware innovations
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum principles and applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering or photonic systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
