Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Develop quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate quantum-classical systems
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and scalability
- Create technical documentation for quantum system deployment
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum principles and best practices
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum system architecture or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum computing
- Published research in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
