Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuit architectures for fault-tolerant computing
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Optimize quantum error correction codes for 2026-era hardware constraints
- Research novel quantum materials and fabrication techniques
- Establish industry standards for quantum API interoperability
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms or hardware
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in low-level quantum control systems (FPGA, cryogenic interfaces)
- Demonstrated experience with quantum simulation software (Quil, QASM)
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum data analysis
