Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum error correction algorithms achieving < 0.1% error rates
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Implement hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Secure patents for novel quantum gate designs and entanglement protocols
- Advise C-suite on quantum technology adoption roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design (IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Security clearance for classified quantum research projects
