Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Design quantum-safe cryptographic protocols for financial and healthcare systems
- Lead development of hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Optimize quantum error correction codes for real-world hardware constraints
- Validate quantum systems using IBM Qiskit and Microsoft Azure Quantum
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design qubit architectures
- Author patents and publish in Nature Physics/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with superconducting qubit or ion trap systems
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum journals
- Security clearance for government-contracted projects
