Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuit architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve complex optimization problems
- Implement quantum error mitigation strategies using advanced machine learning techniques
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects with major tech partners
- Author whitepapers and patents on breakthrough quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
- Collaborate with security teams to develop quantum-resistant encryption protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency with high-performance computing frameworks and GPU acceleration
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Track record of leading technical teams through successful product launches
- Security clearance preferred for government-funded projects
