Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for error-corrected qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography and machine learning applications
- Create technical documentation and quantum system blueprints for cross-functional teams
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
