Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications in cryptography, material science, and AI optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in quantum system integration
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Create blueprints for hybrid quantum-classical computing platforms
- Collaborate with research institutions on quantum algorithm development
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and qubit manipulation techniques
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting systems
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Track record of leading complex R&D projects from concept to deployment
- Ability to communicate quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
