Responsibilities
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for error correction and scalability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design qubit topologies and control systems
- Create quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for client deployments
- Lead technical roadmaps for quantum computing integration into cloud platforms
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming and system design principles
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum system design
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant architectures
- Expertise in quantum machine learning applications
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Security clearance eligibility preferred for government projects
