Job Description
Join Nexus Quantum Labs at the forefront of computational revolution. We're pioneering quantum-resistant infrastructure and building the next generation of cryptographic systems that will secure digital assets through 2026 and beyond. As a Quantum Computing Architect, you'll design hybrid quantum-classical architectures that solve previously impossible problems in cryptography, AI optimization, and materials science. Our Austin hub collaborates with MIT, IBM Research, and NASA to deploy production-ready quantum solutions.
We offer equity grants, unlimited PTO, and a $15k annual innovation stipend for cutting-edge research. You'll lead a team of 15 quantum engineers and collaborate with Nobel laureates in our 30,000 sq ft quantum lab.

- Design and implement quantum-safe cryptographic protocols for blockchain and financial systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum processors with >1000 qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum simulation projects for drug discovery
- Secure $5M+ in R&D grants from NSF and DARPA
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM SIGPLAN
- Maintain compliance with NIST quantum encryption standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# frameworks
- Experience with superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Security clearance or ability to obtain DOE Q-level clearance
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies
