Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with >100 qubit coherence capabilities
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead quantum error correction implementations achieving fault-tolerant thresholds
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical supercomputers
- Create quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor quantum engineers while establishing industry standards for quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubit systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and algorithm design
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 50 qubits
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mechanisms and mitigation strategies
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into executable business strategies
