Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026 deployment
- Develop quantum error-correction algorithms achieving 99.999% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum-classical hybrid system integration
- Research and prototype novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Secure $15M+ in quantum computing grants from NSF and DARPA
- Author white papers on quantum security standards for ISO 2026 compliance
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years building quantum systems with demonstrated qubit coherence >100Ξs
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Publication record in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor engineering
- Security clearance preferred for government projects
- Fluency in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Track record of securing federal research grants
