Job Description
Join Nexus Future Labs at the forefront of technological evolution as we pioneer quantum solutions for 2026 and beyond. We seek a visionary Quantum Computing Architect to design next-gen quantum systems that will redefine computational boundaries. In this role, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry disruptors to translate theoretical quantum mechanics into scalable, real-world applications. Our state-of-the-art facility in San Francisco offers unparalleled resources, including access to quantum annealers and superconducting qubit arrays. This is your chance to shape the quantum revolution—apply today to become an architect of tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols and optimization algorithms for quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for cryptography and AI applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Research emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, quantum networks) for 2026 roadmap
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- 3+ years designing quantum circuits or quantum error correction systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and Python/C++
- Publication record in quantum computing or topological quantum systems
- Experience with quantum annealers (D-Wave) or superconducting qubit platforms
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA)
