Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead development of hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning pipelines
- Research and mitigate quantum security vulnerabilities in blockchain and encryption systems
- Develop roadmaps for quantum-resistant cryptography implementation
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Partner with product teams to translate quantum capabilities into commercial solutions
- Present quantum computing frameworks to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware engineering
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams through complex prototyping cycles
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Knowledge of NIS2 compliance frameworks for quantum security
