Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with 100+ qubit coherence
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for industrial deployment
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize cryogenic control systems
- Translate theoretical quantum algorithms into practical implementations
- Drive quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Mentor cross-functional teams on quantum principles and applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum system architecture or quantum computing
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong background in superconducting or trapped-ion qubit technologies
- Proven ability to bridge theoretical concepts with engineering solutions
- Experience securing government/DoD quantum research clearances preferred
