Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Ensure quantum systems meet security, reliability, and performance benchmarks
- Research and implement error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with academic institutions and government agencies on quantum standards
- Document architectural blueprints and quantum system specifications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
