Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms optimized for real-world applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical architectures that bridge current classical systems with next-gen quantum capabilities
- Lead quantum error mitigation strategies to achieve fault-tolerant computing by 2026
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Create quantum security protocols resistant to emerging cryptographic threats
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices for quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record developing production-level quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Experience with quantum hardware integration and quantum cloud platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
