Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuit architectures optimized for error correction and scalability beyond 2026 requirements
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum machine learning algorithms
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Author white papers on quantum supremacy applications in logistics and materials science
- Secure $50M+ in government and private quantum computing grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, color codes)
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Publication record in Nature/Science quantum computing papers
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization tools
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures (HPC)
- US security clearance or ability to obtain one
