Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical AI systems with 99.9% fault tolerance
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum neural networks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum-AI integration
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum-computing research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms or AI systems
- Expertise in Python, Qiskit, TensorFlow Quantum, and Cirq
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complexity theory
- Proven track record of securing research funding
