Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum machine learning models for complex optimization problems
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits leveraging NISQ-era hardware constraints
- Collaborate with physicists to implement quantum error correction protocols
- Create hybrid AI-quantum frameworks for real-world deployment
- Lead open-source contributions to quantum AI libraries
- Present breakthrough research at premier conferences (QIP, NeurIPS)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, or Physics (MS + 3 years experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Fluency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
