Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning frameworks for complex optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects in partnership with MIT and ETH Zurich
- Secure $2M+ research grants from NSF and DARPA initiatives
- Pioneer error mitigation techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Author breakthrough publications in Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum AI specializations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Computer Science, or Physics
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, Rust, and high-performance computing architectures
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and error correction protocols
- Track record of securing federal research funding
