Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls and patient inquiries during night shift hours with professionalism and empathy
- Perform accurate data entry for patient records, scheduling, and billing information
- Greet and register patients efficiently, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly
- Coordinate with night staff to maintain smooth workflow and emergency protocols
- Handle administrative tasks including filing, copying, and inventory management
- Uphall HIPAA compliance standards for all patient interactions and data handling
- Prepare daily reports and shift summaries for day team handover
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in reception or data entry role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Exceptional typing speed (60+ WPM) and 10-key accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shift
- Strong attention to detail with error-free data handling capabilities
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
- Basic medical terminology knowledge is highly desirable
