The Role
As our Night Shift Receptionist, you will be responsible for the seamless operation of our front desk during off-hours. This position bridges the gap between security and administration, requiring a blend of interpersonal skills and technical proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations: Greet and welcome visitors, vendors, and employees arriving during the night shift; manage the reception area to ensure a professional and secure environment.
- Data Entry & Management: Perform high-volume, accurate data entry tasks, updating databases, logging visitor information, and ensuring digital records are current and error-free.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone lines professionally, screen calls, and relay messages to the appropriate on-call personnel promptly.
- Security Oversight: Monitor access logs, verify visitor credentials, and assist with facility security protocols to ensure a safe workspace.
- Reporting: Compile and submit daily operational reports and shift summaries to the management team.
- Administrative Support: Handle mail distribution, package management, and other ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in reception, customer service, or data entry roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry software.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to maintain accuracy while managing high volumes of data.
