Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations including visitor screening, phone handling, and mail processing
- Coordinate weekend community outreach events and volunteer schedules
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for departmental records
- Process permits, applications, and resident inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Assist with data entry, report generation, and administrative documentation
- Collaborate with weekend staff to ensure seamless operational continuity
- Support inventory management and office supply procurement
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience in public sector preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of San Francisco municipal processes a plus
- Valid California Driver's License may be required for occasional off-site duties
