Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure AI infrastructure that supports high-throughput inference and training workloads.
- Model Development: Lead the research and deployment of proprietary Generative AI models, optimizing for accuracy, speed, and ethical alignment.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of brilliant data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Technical Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for our AI platform, collaborating closely with product and engineering leadership.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize model latency, resource utilization, and cost efficiency (FinOps for AI).
- Ethical AI: Implement guardrails and safety protocols to ensure responsible AI deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong focus on Machine Learning and AI.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Experience with MLOps tools (Kubeflow, MLflow) is highly desirable.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Generative AI: Proven track record of working with LLMs (GPT, BERT, Llama) and RAG architectures.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
