Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end innovation lifecycle from ideation to market launch for 2026-era technologies
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI)
- Build and manage cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, and domain experts
- Establish partnerships with leading academic institutions and R&D labs
- Secure and allocate R&D budgets exceeding $10M annually
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy
Qualifications
- 15+ years in innovation leadership with 5+ in emerging tech sectors
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Innovation
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Executive experience scaling innovation programs from concept to revenue
- Strong network with Silicon Valley VCs and academic institutions
- Certification in Innovation Management (e.g., PDMA, IXL Center)
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
